What We Are Doing

This year we were supposed to be visiting Bucharest on our 2020 tour, obviously this didn't quite go ahead as planned. Originally our plan wasto cover 2414k from our club house to the hotel in Bucharest we were supposed to be staying in but we managed to cover this in just over 7 days! We are now going from visiting one to tour to visiting as many of our previous tours as we can. We already passed České Budějovice (Tour 2019) on the way to Bucharest and the plan is now to go through Split (Tour 2014) to Zagreb (Tour 2013) then Berlin (Tour 2016), Amsterdam (Tour 2009), Antwerp (Tour 2008) and Lille (Tour 2007) before heading back into England to Ilfracombe (Tour 2012) and onwards to Ickenham - an extra 4043km bringing our total to 6457km. We have set ourselves, our friends and anybody who wishes to join us the task of walking, running, swimming or cycling that combined distance between the 26th May and the 16th June. That's three weeks to get as many miles in as you can! As a club and a community I am sure we can clock up the distance between us!

How You Can Take Part

This is open to all players past and present as well as families and friends of the club. You can run, walk, swim or cycle and we'd love to see photos! You can log your distance here: Distance Tracker

Who We Are Doing This For

We are doing this to raise money for a charity called The Campaign Against Living Miserably or CALM. They are leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM run a free and confidential helpline and webchat 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about lifes problems. They work to offer support as well as challenge the culture that prevents men from seeking help when they need it. The donation link is at the top of the page.
